About Denise

I am a teacher with 14+ years of experience. I specialize in reading comprehension, and writing 5 paragraph narratives, informational and argumentative essays. I have training in utilizing special education strategies to support students to becoming self directed, independent learners and helping them build confidence in their abilities. I am a mother of 5 who is very determined to see myself excel so I can support those around me to do the same. I am always willing to help those I feel need the support and will go over and beyond if I find it necessary. I am clean and organized and find it difficult to focus when there is clutter around or the house is very messy. I would prefer to work at the library or someplace public with no distractions. Distractions will just cause both myself and the student unnecessary disruptions and make it difficult for the learning process to continue smoothly. I look forward to hearing from you.
