Aloha! My name is Asterin, I am a 26-year-old teacher who is passionate about the outdoors, mental and emotional health, animals, and physical activity. I got my bachelors degree in K-8 Education at the University of Montana and taught my own classroom of 3-5th graders for three years! I currently tutor and work at Kona Cliffs, the rock climbing gym. I tutor all subjects but my favorite thing to teach is social emotional learning. Mental health is incredibly important and teaching positive skills to young kids sets them up for success when life inevitably happens. Let me know what your needs are and I'll see if I can help!
