About Denine

I am a hands-on, child-centered educator who loves to do crafts, read books, nurture a child's imagination, and rock a baby to sleep. After successfully launching my two homeschooled children, I have continued to be an educator and caregiver. I have recently cared for two infants and have excellent references available from both families. I was also a nanny for several years before I had my children, and I taught multiple ages at a homeschool resource center while I raised them. I have worked in day care centers and preschools, and have professional experience teaching multiple subjects. I have an emergency teaching credential, am first aid and CPR certified, and have a perfect driving record. I may not have the energy I had when nannying in my 20's, but I am experienced, reliable, loving, creative, and fun. More importantly, being on the far side of parenting, I am very attuned to the needs of the entire family during the often hectic and intimidating first few years of parenthood.
