About Debra

Hi, I'm Deb. My experience in caring for the elderly began a few years ago. My friend was going on a trip and asked if I would help take care of her elderly father in her absence. As I spent time with him, I became aware of the challenges he faced, unable to care for himself as he once did. I began to understand the many aspects of care required to help someone remain in their home throughout the process of aging and illness. Watching someone struggle to accomplish the daily tasks of living and the accompanying loss of independence awakened compassion within me. I knew I could help and have been providing care and support since that first meeting.
