About Patricia

I'd describe my personality as open, gentle, strong. I like caring for seniors because I find kinship and meaning in their company and satisfaction in being of help I started caring for seniors when my mother became ill. She looked at me one day with an amazed look on her face and said happily, "Trish! You're a wonderful nurse!" Later, when I was looking for a part-time job, I remembered those words. In my spare time, I like to teach "devoted listening" and "speaking in the here and now" to small gatherings of friends. I also like to spend time with my husband and my black cat. I like to read and meditate. One thing you should know about me is that my first priority is kindness. My skills include encouraging physical activity when possible, asking questions to guide our time together, light housekeeping and personal help of many kinds.
