About Deborah

I have been an in-home support for my son who suffered a brain injury for three years now. During this time, I managed his medications, doctor's appointments, and transportation to appointments. During the first two years of care giving, I was his voice until he himself regained proper communication skills to represent himself. I kept his room, bathroom and laundry cleaned. I also made sure our Kitchen was clean and his refrigerator stocked. I reminded him to take showers and baths. I also cleaned out soiled sheets and bedding from urine and bowel accidents that occurred frequently through the nights. I also pride myself in keeping his Spirits high and protecting him from ridiculing family and others, while educating concerned family members I learned a lot and I am not done learning or offering real compassionate care to those in need.
