About Dawn

My name is Dawn I have 3 grown daughters and a granddaughter. I am a child development teacher who is nearing retirement and is slowing down her work hours. I'm only 55 but have worked for a local school district for 33 years. I have experience working with seniors who have dementia or Alzheimer's as I helped care for my mother in law whom passed of the disease. I know that often seniors will need activities to stimulate their minds and I employed such activities with my mother in law and always focused on joy and safety. I know first hand what a difficult experience this is for the family and hope that I can be of help to ease the burden for someone else. I have CPR and first aide a degree in psychology and child development. I've taken life span courses as well.
