References will be provided, and background checks can be ordered upon request. I have experience with many challenges of aging, to include dementia, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, COPD, MS, Parkinson's, asthma, catheter care, surgery recovery, and hospice care. I am dementia care certified. I am certified in Basic Life Support (CPR, and Obstructed Airway) I am reliable, detail oriented, patient, have excellent listening skills, and thrive on building long term relationships with people. I am retired from the professional world. So, this is my second career and I have found my "happy place" in senior care, I would love the opportunity to meet your senior and access if I can make a positive difference in their life. I really cannot say enough about Dawn's caregiving approach, and her interest in my mother's care. She goes above and beyond to provide very personal and loving care for my mother, making her feel very comfortable and secure. I highly recommend Dawn's services for someone who has difficulty understanding what is going on around them, especially for those who are living with dementia. My mother is 94 1/2 years old and very confused most of the time but when Dawn is there with her I always know that she's receiving the very best of care, which I truly appreciate.
