About Danna

As a nurturing and experienced teacher with decades of experience, I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and making a positive impact on their lives. My background includes a BA and MA in Education, and I've completed coursework in early child development. I'm certified in CPR and First Aid, and I'm happy to help with carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. My approach to childcare is centered around patience, creativity, and open communication. I believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules and prefer to communicate about a child's day or any issues through regular updates via text or phone call, whichever the parents prefer. I can also offer tutoring services if needed. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning.
