About Danielle

Hi! I have 12 years of teaching art in public and private institutions with students in K-12 and beyond. I also own and operate a small ceramics studio where I teach private lessons in clay as well as melding yoga and art making in specialty workshops. Currently, I am also teaching ceramics for adults with special needs at a local studio. I have experience in working with autistic children and helping students regulate and manage their emotions. I have facilitated small groups in a school to help children K-8 build their SEL skills. I am a retired cook/sous chef/pastry chef with over 15 years in the restaurant industry. My specialties are nourishing comfort food, breakfast, cold salads with grains and greens, muffins, cookies, quick breads, seafood, soups and stews, focaccia and pasta dishes. When I'm not caring for others, I'm caring for myself by hiking and being outside, practicing yoga, cycling, laughing and cooking delicious food for myself and my partner!
