About Danica

I spent 8 years working as a tutor for students of all ages in ELA, ESL, French, math, and the arts. I've taught music and dance in public schools, dance studios, community centers, colleges and recently earned my MFA in Dance (the equivalent to a phd in the field). I use games and play to make learning accessible to younger learners. I prepare students for their transition to next stages of learning and support with career readiness as well. I'd describe my personality as open minded, hard working, and compassionate. I like tutoring because I can create a personalized plan for students based on my relationship with the student and family. In my spare time, I like to dance! I also love nature and visiting new cities. My teaching style: I work flexibility to ensure that the needs of students and families are met tailor my work accordingly. My skills include creating personalized learning plans, teaching clear and concise writing methods, and inspiring students to love learning.
