I have tutored all subjects to all grade levels, varying from Pre-K through high school. I taught elementary education for 6 years, Special Education at a residential treatment facility for 4 years, and Special Education at a middle school for 3. I absolutely love tutoring because I get to work one on one with students and we accomplish so much more, based on his/her specific learning styles and needs. Teaching special education and writing IEPs (Individual Education Plans) has prepared me and shaped me to be able to meet students at their level, no matter what it might be. I love differentiating and individualizing instruction and getting to know each student and what they need more specific instruction and support with.
