About Danette

I currently have an AA degree in education and a BA degree in human development. I have taken care of kids since 1972. I currently have a girl that I'm taking care of (age 2 1/2) and have been since she was 2 months old. I have taught all my children their alphabets, numbers, shapes, animals, planets and how to write and read. I teach children to be sociable and to share. When ready I potty train, with the help of the parents. I teach children to bless their food as well as washing their hands. I ensure that all children are taught to use their small and large motor skills, eye and hand coordination and all children are taught to eat the proper way at the breakfast, lunch and dinner table. I have been told by many people that I go beyond the call of duty to take care of a child. My kids are always kept clean, loved and well fed. My children are considered a part of my family. My children eat two hot meals and one healthy snack. We do not serve junk food. We serve vegetables and fruit daily. I am a grandmother of one (one) 13-year-old and a parent of three children, ages 30, 19 and 18 years old. Call me, I'm that educator you would love to meet.
