About DanChi

I'm graduating this May 2025, with the goal of becoming a Pediatric RN! In nursing school I worked with various populations, which solidified my passion for working with children. I thrive in environments where I can contribute to a nurturing and compassionate space! My journey with children began early when my mother opened a preschool in our home! I worked alongside her and the teachers, developing and leading age-appropriate (and fun!) science and art projects. I have some ASL background from school and volunteering experiences with children and adults with special needs. These experiences helped me develop flexibility and empathy when working with people who communicate and behave differently! Additionally, my past experience working as a Clinical Assistant/Student Nurse in major hospitals across Boston have bolstered my ability to work fast on my feet while managing multiple demands at once. I know these skills also apply to childcare, and I am equipped to take this on!
