I have 2 years experience and currently working for a company . I took care of my Grandmother in her last year. I have also helped my sister when she was in hospice. She actually got well enough where hospice was no longer available. Working in the hospitality business for 30 years brings a certain attention that others may not. The hurdles my son has to endure brings a patience that is valuable in this service. With the compassionate heart and the other two qualities makes me a great fit with almost anyone. Right now I have been one of the primary caregivers for an Intellectually Disabled man. He is wheelchair bound that needs redirection often. I help bathe him, toilet him, cook for him, pass medications, take him to appointments, grocery & clothes shopping plus socialize. He has alzheimer's and seizures. I also do meditation daily to keep me grounded.
