About Cynthia

My desire is to instill gleeful curiosity, integrity, respect and a yearning for what's next in whomever I care for. Youth of all ages are special treasures to be nurtured, yet not needlessly confined. I have a vast array of experience from which to share that I will enjoy visiting with you about. I have been employed as a Literacy Tutor with MISD, working primarily with 3rd and 4th graders. Currently, I work as a substitute Program Manager for an after school program which provides structured activities, including homework help, for children ages Pre-K through 6th grade. I homeschooled our 4 children from Pre-K through 8th grade. My career was as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Director of Adjunctive Therapies. I have been an ESL instructor, dance/fitness instructor, a lifeguard, a geological assistant and a church youth director. I have reliable transportation, am a good cook and will happily perform other tasks. I have passed all background tests and am vaccinated
