I have 21+ years of experience teaching music. I started by teaching drumline students and beginner percussion students for several years while in college. Then I graduated with an All-Level Music Education degree from West Texas A&M University. I have taught in public schools Middle and High School Band (Percussion and, secondarily, Brass) for 12 years. Then I switched to teaching Elementary Music for the last 7 years. I strong in English/Writing and Music. Most experienced private lesson instructors charge at least $30/hour, by the way.
