About Cynthia

Hello. I have been working in healthcare for 15+ years. I began working as a technician in sleep medicine then started working as a nurse assistant. During my work in the hospital, I also began working private duty home care for elderly patients and hospice patients. I find work in healthcare to be very rewarding and love being able to get to know my patients and their families. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, patient and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because they love to share stories about their lives. Seniors have great perspective regardless of age. I enjoy helping seniors be as independent as possible. I'm looking for a job that makes an impact. I started caring for seniors when I began working in our local hospital in Michigan. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, cook and be outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I recently moved to Portland from Michigan. My skills include safety, patience and communication.
