Hey! My name is Cortney and I have been an elementary school teacher for 5 years - currently teaching 3rd in the Federal Way School District. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Western Washington University and my Masters Degree from Western Governors University. I run a tutoring program at my own school throughout the year and know what it's like to teach different content areas at a variety of grade levels. I like tutoring because you get to work one-on-one or in a small group to hone in on the specific needs of the student. I also love getting to know the student on a more personable level - building a positive relationship together will help the learning process immensely. I'm looking for a job that is consistent from week to week. I'd like to partner with a family who has an elementary student needing support in math/ELA.
