About Corinne

I have three years of experience working with children. I am patient, creative, adaptable, and reliable; I believe that nurturing and encouraging independence, creativity, emotional regulation, and kindness matters. I worked for the Ankeny Before and After School Program for two years. I currently work for the Bob and Billy Ray Child Development Center, and I teach private swim lessons. So, I have experience with children aged four months to 12 years. I have worked with children with language delays, anxiety, emotional and behavioral regulation challenges, and dual language learners. Some of my favorite childcare activities are cooking fun, healthy meals with my charges, storytime, multi-sensory bins, creating diy educational activities, helping them understand homework, going on walks in the forest or at the park, and taking them swimming.
