About Corey

I am a former elementary teacher and activities director with extensive experience in elder care, specializing in dementia and Alzheimer's support. I have worked in assisted living facilities, cared for individuals with developmental disabilities, and served as a guardian for my sister with developmental disabilities. I am skilled in advocating at doctor's appointments, managing medications, and assisting with daily living activities, including hygiene and showering. As a visual artist who works from home, I have a flexible schedule and a deep passion for caregiving. I value fostering independence while providing compassionate, respectful assistance. I enjoy building meaningful relationships and creating a supportive, positive environment for those I care for. Caring for the elderly, disabled, and vulnerable is incredibly important to me, and I would be honored to offer my skills, experience, and companionship to someone in need.
