About Corey

Hi Families!! My name is Corey and I graduated from Florida State University in May with a 4. 0 GPA in my major. I graduated with a degree in Family and Child Sciences and a minor in Social Work. Although most of my experience is with children, during my last year of college, I got the opportunity to take elder social work care courses and assist in the care of my medically needy grandparents. This opened my eyes into the world of working with older people and inspired a newfound passion. Seeing the impact that companionship and conversation had on my grandparents and their friends day to day lives inspired me to want to get more involved with older people. I love to read, bake, spend time outside, do puzzles, care for animals, play card games, mahjong, and bingo! I have my own reliable vehicle and a clean driving record where I can drive/run errands for you or your loved one. I can provide a resume and/or references upon request.
