About Colleen

I'd describe my personality as understanding, helpful, and funny! I like tutoring because it allows me develop a personal connection with students, as well as focus on their individual academic needs. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and dogs, read, and grow flowers in my garden. One thing you should know about me is I give 100% in everything I do. My skills include focused instruction in reading and writing, providing strategies and support in study and organizational skills, and using humor to facilitate learning.
