Hi, my name is Colleen and I am looking for a homecare position. I am 43 years old and I have been doing care work for about 20 years now. I started out as a CNA in Estes Park working in their nursing home then relocated to the hospital floor. I then was doing private duty home care for many years. I continued to Aurora and started working with seniors with developmental disabilities at developmental pathways day program. My husband and I decided that we did not enjoy living in Aurora and moved to Windsor. I got a job at foothills gateway working as a DSP, direct support provider. I started losing hours of work so I started doing homecare for a disabled women and her disabled children. She later passed away and so I then started working at the Otero corporation in Windsor serving adults with disabilities. I have been there for 6 years in March. I am leaning towards wanting to do homecare once again. Thank you for reading!
