About Christine

I prefer one-time or short-term jobs in Alameda, since I have other freelance work. My master's degree in education from Columbia University provides me the foundation to support the educational needs of a wide range of students- from special needs to the talented and gifted. For 3 years, I was a special ed paraprofessional, elevating the reading levels of children on the autism spectrum or with ADHD. Recently, I coordinated the NorCal High School Ethics Bowl, and my passion lies in philosophy for children, where we create a space for children to explore the big questions about life. I have even tutored children in logical reasoning. My time with your kid/s will be productive and educative. I am happy to support them with their homework or interests, whether it's in music, art, or sports. (I can play multiple instruments; I have a degree in fashion design; and I did wrestling in college.) I am also happy to do light housekeeping, as long as I can keep an eye on your kid/s.
