I'd describe my personality as friendly, outgoing, energetic. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy listening to their stories. I'm looking for a job that allows me to interact and assist individuals who need a hand around the house or with errands. I have no formal experience caring for seniors. I am recently retired as a nurse practitioner in a NICU. I helped my dad over the years before he recently passed and I know he could have benefited from a service like Care. com. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, go to the gym, and walk every day. One thing you should know about me is that I am a hard worker and very dependable. I am not looking for another job in the medical field, but I do enjoy helping others whether it be running errands, helping them around the house. I don't have specific senior care skills, but I am patient with a good sense of humor and described as always being very positive and friendly. I have good communication skills and self-awareness.
