I received my B. S. in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon in 2018. I graduated from George Fox University in 2021 with a Masters of Art in Teaching with a Special Education Endorsement. I currently work as a special education teacher in the Independent Skills Center (ISC) at Kinnaman Elementary School. I previously worked at Raleigh Park Elementary School as a resource room teacher. I also have prior experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Behavior Technician (BT), medication technician/caregiver in assisted memory/memory care, and as a self-employed tutor. I am available weekdays after 4 p.m.

Chelsey has been such a huge help for my first grader and for me, too! She has a wealth of strategies and resources to help make ideas click. Her experience with learning disabilities and calming strategies is helping tremendously to try out techniques on my wiggly kiddo. His confidence and attention span is really improving, as are his reading, writing and math skills. Given the pandemic, we meet via video conference, and it still feels like a full tutoring experience. Chelsey does a great job with the flow and variety. And she's unflappable and always punctual, too!
