About Charlotte

I majored in English Literature and Creative Writing, and during my last year in university (only my last year due to simply not knowing about the opportunity beforehand) I worked in the writing center with students both native and international with various levels of English comprehension. I enjoyed this experience immensely and in July 2018 I attended a month-long TEFL course, where I equally enjoyed student teaching English to people aged 5 to 75. Shortly before the pandemic, I began working in the Writing Resource Center for TCC Southeast and continued to work there (mostly online) through the pandemic until the fall of 2021. At that time, I moved to South Korea, where I have been working for the last two years as an English teacher for kinder and elementary students. I intend to return to South Korea in late 2024 to resume my teaching career, but for now, I'm hoping to continue tutoring English while I take some time to spend stateside with my family.
