About Celina

I have 18 years of teaching experience. My passion is teaching students and making relationships with students and their families. I have taught grades K-6 and I have taught all subjects, but my most favorite is Language Arts. I have worked with diverse learners of different backgrounds and learning styles. I have tutored students who need extra practice, students who are struggling, and with students who need enrichment. I'd describe my personality as creative, hardworking, and encouraging. I like tutoring because I enjoy seeing learners grow, feel more confident, and improve academically. I'm looking for a job that gives me clear expectations. I started tutoring when I began my teaching experience. In my spare time, I like to read suspense thrillers, grilling, traveling, and make memories with my own family. One thing you should know about me is I want the best for all learners. My skills include reading fluency, reading comprehension, and writing process.
