About Charity

I'm a lifelong lover of words, reading, writing, literature, and linguistics! I have an impeccable grasp of grammar and was dubbed The Grammar Guru by coworkers. I homeschooled my five children, now all in their 20s; each one has strong reading, writing, and grammar skills. I've also worked as a technical writer for more than 20 years in full-time, part-time, and contracting capacities - on site and remotely - and am happy to provide my resume and writing samples. Most importantly, I am passionate about helping our youth understand all things English, language, reading, writing, and grammar! Because my own five children had vastly different learning styles, I'm persistent in identifying and connecting with each child on their own level and adapting to their unique learning style. I'm enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about helping students catch my love for all aspects of the English language, and you will find it's fully worth the investment in your child!
