About Catherine

I started caring for children when I was 12. I took care of 4 children age 3 to 6 full time in 1978. I raised three sons, all creative college graduates. My most recent experience is caring for children 1 to 6 part time. Before that, I cared for a baby girl, age: 6 to 16 mo. It was inspiring to encourage the development of her creativity, musical skills, nature appreciation and overall life skills. In recent years, I have cared full time and part time for children of many ages: 3 months to age 12, 1 to 4 children at a time. My approach is calm and creative. I also have 13 years of experience as a deli-bakery manager and 15 years as an Art Gallery / Business manager. I am in great physical condition. I love to keep children engaged and active. I always strive to provide both structure and space for children to develop their sense of purpose. I love to awaken a love for the arts. I am fluent in French. I am learning Spanish.
