About Vivian

As a single lady of 61, children and high school students have been a career focus of mine for more than 27 years. I have learned and grown tremendously as I have worked in Europe and in the States. For the last 6 years, I have had the privilege of being a nanny for a "Little One", who is now 6 1/2 years old and not so little anymore, as well as his younger brother who is 3 1/2 years old. Through out the last 10 years of my journey, I have been a nanny for two families and assisted 4 other families for shorter periods of time. The challenge that lies before me as a nanny is getting to know each individual child, realizing that each one is uniquely created, in order that I can care for, teach, and encourage them to be the best that they can be. When they discover a little bit about who they are and their potential, I realize that my greatest challenge has become my greatest joy!

Vivian has been with us for almost 2 years. It's hard for me to pick the best things about her because I have so many compliments! As a person she is friendly, kind, a fast learner, and fun to be around. She engages with the girls from the moment she starts in the morning till when she leaves in the evening. She does educational play with our older daughter (2 years old) and has even started reading to our youngest (3 months old). One thing I really appreciate is that she is always thinking of new things to do with the girls. Before our second daughter was born, she would take our older daughter to the library on a regular basis, to the zoo frequently, and out and about for activities multiple times a week. She is so easy to get along with and after being with us for these two years she feels like part of the family!
