About Catherine

As a caregiver I am passionate about positively impacting children's lives. I am patient and calm, I creatively engage children in outdoor sports, physical games, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I am also comfortable enforcing household rules. I do prefer a gentle method of correcting unwanted behavior. Typically I will engage in a conversation with the child about what they are feeling and why. I can then provide the child with the support they need and give them tools to help navigate their feelings in the future. Children are just little people with big feelings and sometimes they just need a little help understanding them! I value open communication and follow the parents' preferred method, ensuring they are informed about their child's day and any issues that arise. I am excited about the opportunity to connect with a family and provide their child with a nurturing and enriching environment.
