About Cassie

I currently work with special need adults at a day program teaching them writing composition and basic math. Most importantly set personal goals for them to achieve independence. teach them how to take public transportation and how to navigate. If their goal is to have a job take them to volunteer sites that will help them practice the skills and responsibilities of having a job. When out in the community, I teach them street signs and their meanings. I'll take them to the park to use the exercise machines and have picnics. If dine in a resturant, i'll teach them dining etiquette. teach them social skills, emotion regulation, and when to speak up for themselves. I plan outings to the movies, museums, and stores they would like to go and teach them the value of coins and budgeting their money.
