About Cassandra

Hi, my name is Cassandra and I am a born and raised Mainer and career nanny with over a decade of experience working with children. I hold a bachelors degree in Child Development & Human Relations from the University of Maine. In my nearly 15 years of working with children I have worked in multiple different settings including summer camps, childcare facilities, and babysitting. I have been a full time nanny for the past 5 years and have worked with children ages 0-12. As a childcare provider I like to spend as much time outside in nature and in the community with the kids as possible and encourage independent, exploratory play. I am patient, reliable, flexible, positive, and an effective communicator, which are all qualities that help me to excel in this role. In my free time I enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking and baking. I am happy to provide references upon request as I cherish the relationships I've built with past families I've worked with. I look forward to hearing from you!
