About Casey

As a former early childhood educator, I value play based learning and trauma responsive care founded in love. I value following the children's lead in where their interests are, and I enjoy making discoveries together. I'm looking for a job that will be a gentle pace where days are reserved for play and learning. I started working with kids when I was a young teenager. I cared for the neighbors' kids next door, helping with homework and meals. Professionally, I nannied for 3 years in my early 20s before I went back to school. When I graduated, I became a preschool teacher and, eventually, a director. My skills include CPR and First Aid training, authorized to train in trauma responsive care for infants and toddlers, and extensive knowledge in child development.
