I started working with kids when I became a summer camp counselor in 2020! In my spare time, I like to write, read, run, perform and watch stand-up comedy. One thing you should know about me is I am very chill, but I do not strive to be "cool." My skills include finding ways to let kids engage with everyday tasks, naptime, goofy games. I am a runner so if your kids likes to play outside, I'm game.

Carrie was our son’s nanny from the time we were placed with him (adoption) until he went to preschool, about two years. In the early days, Carrie was a bright ray of sunshine that helped me get used to being a mom. She was a collaborator and a lifeline for us. Later, she was constantly coming up with new things to do with the child to support his growing special needs. She took him to doctors appointments with me to learn about some of the conditions he was facing, and took him to and participated in his therapies (physical, speech, and aqua therapy). Carrie was an important part of our child’s life and made it better with her kindness, empathy, and compassion. Highly recommend.
