About Carolyn

I'd describe my personality as more introverted than extroverted, compassionate, and hardworking. I like caring for seniors because I am impressed by their experiences and enjoy getting to know them. I'm looking for a job that is meaningful to me. I like to support others, build relationships, and contribute to my community. I started caring for seniors when I graduated from college. I worked for a non-profit organization for seniors. I was a companion at art classes, music/singing groups, and discussion groups. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, jogging, and creative writing. One thing you should know about me is I am 58 years old. I have been a social worker, a teacher, and a counselor. I worked in the public school system for years. I have two grown children. My skills include providing kind, respectful, and responsible care.
