About Caitlin

I am a positive, patient, and reliable educator that aims to build purposeful learning experiences for students. With a bachelor's degree in secondary education and master's degree in higher education, I have had the opportunity to work with students from various backgrounds and different ages to achieve their academic goals. While I currently work full-time in higher education, I am looking to make a little extra money and to do so by doing something I love. I maintain a student-centered mindset when tutoring and believe that every student is unique. My goal is to help students discover their strengths and improve upon areas they may not have interest in or easily understand. I am adaptable and enjoy being creative in the learning process, which allows me to connect with the student and implement effective learning strategies. Ultimately, I work to encourage and build confidence in each student so that they can confidently move forward in achieving their individual academic goals.
