With 28 years of dedicated teaching experience, including 24 years within the Oak Park Unified School District, I am a California credentialed educator specializing in English, social studies, journalism, speech, and study skills at all levels. I hold certifications in gifted education and have effectively taught inclusive classrooms, accommodating students with diverse learning abilities. My professional development includes collaboration with Dr. Sandra Kaplan at the University of Southern California, where I mastered the Depth and Complexity Framework to promote higher-level thinking among students. After nearly three decades in the classroom, I am eager to offer personalized tutoring services from my home, aiming to help students achieve their learning goals and ignite a passion for lifelong learning.
