Hello! I have just finished my doctorate in Developmental Psychology and Infant Mental Health at Wayne State and am looking to keep afloat now that the job market is in limbo. Before graduate school, I was an early childhood teacher (infants to pre-kindergarten) for five years, and a share-care nanny for two years with children aged newborn to four. I have also worked as a summer camp art counselor and a babysitter for children with special needs. I'm flexible - jobs can be short- or long-term, part-time or full. I believe that parents and families are their children's first teachers, but as for my own philosophy: RIE, child-led play, and going outside every day. Favorite activities include making art projects of all kinds, exploring the neighborhood, and sharing books. I'm happy to provide my resume/CV and a variety of references upon request.
