About Brittany

Hello! My name is Brittany, and I'm a certified English teacher. My specialty is pairing classic and contemporary literature so students get a historical understanding of topics with a social justice and presently applicable lens. My students get a combination of technical writing and creative writing so that they have the tools to be prepared for college and beyond, while also gaining a sense of love and catharsis from writing. I have a high level of written Spanish language and can assist your child in learning the grammar and functions of a language that will add value. I am highly adaptable and can work as a leader in the educational setting as well as working in conjunction with a lead teacher to help support your child in whatever way they need. During this time of immense stress for parents, I am devoted to assisting the next generation of great critical thinkers and helping your child by maintaining high expectations and structure alongside genuine understanding and empathy.
