About Callia

Hello, I'm a current sophomore attending Columbia University looking for small tutoring jobs to do outside of school. I love kids, and especially love helping them learn and succeed. I am a Pre-Law student, and have strong skills in writing, reading, and public speaking. I can help your child with basic reading and writing skills, essay writing and revision, and test preparation. My goal is to help your child improve by setting up activities and basing the lessons on their interests and learning style! Qualifications: As a high school student, I took AP Comparative Government, AP US History, AP World History, AP Language and Composition, and AP Literature. I am a current writer for a large publication at my university, and was a speech and debate student in high school. I'm currently working with kids as a volunteer debate coach. I have experience working and teaching kids as a Teacher Assistant as well. I also have basic-intermediate skills in Spanish.
