About Brittany

I am a mother of 3, a 15-year-old boy, 11-year-old girl and a 1. 5 yr old boy. Not only do I have personal experience with my children I have years of childcare experience as well. I love taking care of people, love teaching new things and watching children learn and grow. I've cared for children on the autism spectrum and children with physical & developmental disabilities. I have 9 years of care-giving experience working with seniors with and without dementia, Alzheimer's and ranges of care needs. I love playing outside in the sun and going for walks with my children. I love to read, sing, dance, craft, and be goofy. I believe in communicating and talking with children through accidents, bad behavior and learning opportunities, it has worked very well for me. I am First aid and CPR certified as well as a certified caregiver. I have training in stars, blood-borne pathogens and proper cleaning techniques. I am available full time, Monday through Friday for childcare.

Brittany loved my babies like they were her own. She and her family were so welcoming, caring, and helpful when it came time for my oldest to switch from daycare to private care. When it was time for my newborn son to be watched, she welcomed him with open arms 5 days a week from 9-5. I always felt comfortable leaving my kiddos with Brittany and knew that they would be well taken care of. She is VERY flexible with her hours and more than willing to take kiddos along with her, should she have errands or school pick ups, during the work day. Brittany would update me often with texts and pictures of the fun things they did. She was very communicative all around and would let me know if she or her family was feeling sick and gave good notice if/when they would be away. If my circumstances hadn't changed, both kids would still be with her. We were all very sad on their last day with her and my daughter still asks about them! We are so lucky to have had Brittany as a nanny.
