About Bridgid

I am a dedicated Special Education teacher with nearly 16 years of experience in education, including the past 9 years at a local public middle school. As a mother of two wonderful children, I understand the importance of personalized support in helping students thrive. In my current role, I work with students across a wide range of abilities, co-teaching math and science while also leading academic support classes. I have extensive experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and specialize in helping students access the general curriculum through tailored support and accommodations. Since 2018, I've also worked as a private tutor for a local family, guiding their children to academic success until they moved on to college. In addition, I offer tutoring through my school, particularly during the summer months. My expertise includes supporting students with executive function deficits, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed academically and beyond.
