I'd describe my personality as friendly, thoughtful, and trustworthy. I like tutoring because it allows me to make a positive impact on students. Watching them grow in confidence and understanding is incredibly rewarding. I love the challenge of finding creative ways to explain concepts and the joy of seeing those "aha" moments when something clicks. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a meaningful impact on students' academic growth and confidence. I started tutoring when 12 years ago when I first started teaching. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. I have my math degree, my Master's degree in special education and I'm licensed to teach elementary and middle school. I often tutor students from elementary or middle school through high school, which helps students feel consistent support through their school years. My skills include building conceptual understandings, strengthening executive functioning skills, and fostering independence in learning.
