About Briana

Hi there, glad to meet you! For my professional experiences I have worked in an after school programs in classroom settings, as well as 1-1 personal tutoring in Math and English Literature. I have experience in cross cultural teaching, ESL, and preparing content. My favorite part of this job is developing our youth to flourish with their gifts, passions, tools and knowledge. I want them to believe in themselves, as I am the facilitator and there to help empower and teach, but they are the ones capable of excelling in their education. I am very hands on, I love to include creative ways to engage the text or problem, including in how I teach math. I love using props, whiteboards, and resources to teach out of Kholb Learning styles, as everyone thrives in different learning contexts. As a motivator and encourager, I want them to feel confident in what they are learning, and in who they are-- and I will go the extra mile to help make that happen!
