Hi my name is Ms. Betty, I was raised in rural southwest VA and have 6 brothers and sisters. I enjoy teaching children and watching their face shine with pride when they learn something new. Working with children is my passion and homeschooling my daughters for 24 years was such a fulfilling experience. I have also worked as a teacher, teacher's aide, substitute teacher, mentor, and tutor. The legacy that I hope to leave is being a blessing in a child's life. Betty has been homeschooling my children for over 3 years. Kids are now ages 12, 8 and 5. She has always been on time and professional. Betty has helped my children grow academically and as people. She taught a variety of subjects including spelling, math, science, english in a way that was engaging and had variety. Betty went above and beyond! We will miss her when the kids go to traditional school this fall.
