About Grace

I have tutored for over a decade and I have been teaching music for 10 years, as well. I have always taught private lessons, babysat, and worked with children in areas of reading and general education, as well. I have my degree in music education and did my student teaching with grades k-5. This, I believe, is what truly solidified my desire to work, full-time, with children. I recently completely two years of graduate studies in early childhood education at East Tennessee State University and was the lead preschool teacher at Little Bucs Early Childhood Laboratory Program. Being the mother of a 4-year-old, I also have been blessed with the opportunity to see childcare from the parents' prospective. There is nothing more rewarding that seeing a child learn and grow. I am also the fifth of seven children, so there is experience in my rearing that adds a whole different facet to my view on childcare.
