About Barbrah

Hi there, I graduated with an Associate's in Early Childhood Education from WCC in 2024. I'm back at school in Pace University for Computer Science, and set to graduate in 2027. Before entering school again, I was a teacher's aide at Blythedale Children's Hospital, where I helped manage a 3rd grader classroom. Every child received different kinds of therapies (physical, occupational, speech, feed) often more than one. This job furthered my profound admiration and respect for children. Before that, I was an assistant teacher for 20 children (mixed age range of 3-5yrs old) in a Montessori Classroom (prioritizing children's right to independence and freedom). I was also a swim instructor for The Nurtury of Rye Brook, teaching all children from our infant class up to our primary class. I've grown up with 5 nephews, 4 nieces, 7 cousins and helped my adult relatives with chaperoning their kids' playdates, and drives to practice/activities. I'm a licensed driver, with my own car since 18.
